What We Do

Mosquito Joe provides outdoor pest control treatments to residential and commercial customers. Our technicians are trained mosquito control experts dedicated to one thing: getting rid of mosquitoes so you can enjoy being outside again. Outfitted with the latest gear and backed by the coordination of a top-notch support staff, our technicians in the field get the job done swiftly and thoroughly, leaving a noticeable absence of biting insects in their wake. Owners

Owners, Howard and Marla Mullins, spent a couple of years searching for an opportunity to expand their horizons. They decided Mosquito Joe was the perfect fit. It was something that offered more to their family and community. Both enjoy spending time by the pool and on afternoon golf cart rides with their dogs, Paris, Lila and Georgia, in tow.

Office Joes

Howard is our maintenance man, weatherman and general troubleshooter! He has been employed with Shaw Industries for 23 years. He enjoys swinging the club at University Club Plantation golf course.

A call to Mosquito Joe of Baton Rouge will connect you with Marla, a former music teacher. Marla sings with Baton Rouge Symphony Chorus and is our Louisiana Certified Applicator. Marla supervises our techs to ensure the best possible service and compliance with all Louisiana State Laws. She loves making our customers happy. If she can’t make you happy, maybe she can sing you a song!

Jake Carruth began as a Technician with Mosquito Joe in 2016. He currently serves as office manager-in-training and is finishing his degree in business administration. When Jake is not in the office, he is likely on the golf course, watching movies or indulging his creative side by painting or playing guitar.

Howard, Marla and Jake are great resources for specific concerns you have about your yard. They are happy to help in any way they can. They not only enjoy making outside fun again but also making their community a better place. They are proud to have teachers, firefighters, students and business owners as part of their team. Rest assured that you’re in good hands. Our goal is to make outside fun again, one family at a time.

Mosquito Joe of Baton Rouge is supported by a team of technicians dedicated to making your outdoor space a mosquito-free zone. These Joes will make sure you are living the good life.

Frederick  is not only a husband, father and grandfather, but also a worship pastor at his church. When is he is not working, he enjoys singing and watching Food Network.  Fred’s favorite part about working for Mosquito Joe is the family environment and the interaction with his customers. We are lucky to have a Lead Tech as dedicated as Fred!

Isaac is a proud husband and father of 3 girls. He is also a Baton Rouge Firefighter. Just call him Joe Hero! When Isaac is not at the fire station or treating your yard, he enjoys watching sports and playing video games. His favorite part of Mosquito Joe is his co-workers and customers. We love you too, Isaac!

Spencer is the proud owner of a sweet pup and is the middle child in a family of 5! When he is not working with Mosquito Joe or volunteering with CAA, he is a student at LSU. His favorite part of Mosquito Joe is getting to be outdoors. Thank you, Spencer, for being so easy-going!

Mosquitoes suck, but we are confident that you won’t feel that way about our mosquito control services. For that reason, we offer our MoJo Satisfaction Guarantee and never lock you into a contract. If you are not completely satisfied with the effectiveness of our mosquito, tick and flea treatments, contact us within 14 days of your service* and we will schedule a time to reassess your property and if needed, provide a booster service at no additional charge. If you’re still not happy after your booster application, let us know and we will be happy to refund your purchase price for that treatment.
